Huffington Post Asks if Serving Your Country Makes You Racist

Marcus Luttrell, the U.S. Navy SEAL known for being portrayed as the "Lone Survivor," revealed on his Facebook page that his Texas home is completely surrounded by water in the wake of Hurricane Harvey.

Luttrell wrote that the home has remained dry except for a few leaks, and he offered some advice to his fellow Houstonians.

"Find a swim buddy and watch each other's backs until this is over. Have a plan and a back-up plan. Take care of yourself, take care of your family, take care of your neighbors, and take care of your town," Luttrell wrote. "DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE IN HIGH WATER, call your local authorities, they are out to help. If you are safe and dry, STAY SAFE AND DRY. God Bless Texas."

Luttrell's wife, Melanie, posted a video to Instagram showing a flooded road near their home.

"Our driveway is starting to wash out, and the road we live on is flooded," she wrote. "Our biggest concern at this moment is baby formula. We have friends and family with us including three babies and we are nervous about running out."

She asked if anyone in the area had extra formula, and some neighbors and officers rose to the occasion.
