Much of Rural Nevada Left With Zero ObamaCare Options in 2018

On Fox Business Network tonight, Lou Dobbs slammed Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) for comments he made about President Donald Trump.

Speaking to the Rotary Club in Kentucky yesterday, McConnell said Trump had "excessive expectations" about how quickly Congress could pass legislation.

"Part of the reason I think people feel like we’re underperforming is because too many artificial deadlines - unrelated to the reality of the complexity of legislating - may not have been fully understood," McConnell said.

Dobbs said McConnell is "shamelessly" trying to blame Trump for his own failures.

"He is blaming the president of the United States for expecting the United States Senate and Congress to pass a budget, tax reform, to repeal ObamaCare, which they promised for seven years," Dobbs said. "And he calls those unrealistic expectations."

"That's what we've got in the swamp, folks," he added.

Dobbs argued that the one person in Washington, D.C. who's actually delivering on their promises is the president.

"And the rest? They are phony baloney," Dobbs said, introducing a new slogan: "Ditch Mitch."

"Let’s start with 'Ditch Mitch.' And [House Speaker Paul] Ryan, don’t get the idea that means you are off the hook either. We got plans for you too.”
