On "Fox & Friends" this morning, David Bossie went off on Democrats for obstructing President Donald Trump, which he said is harming the American people.
Bossie, who served as Trump's deputy campaign manager, said Democratic leaders like Maxine Waters still don't understand why Trump won the election.
"These Democrat politicians are completely out to lunch," Bossie said. "He had an agenda for the American people to make America great again."
He said that the Democrats, on the other hand, believe that the "failing nature" of the U.S. economy and national security under former President Barack Obama was a good thing.
He said they didn't understand what was important to voters in states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and Ohio, where Trump "just marched to victory."
"They want better education for their children. They want a better health care system and a more affordable health care system. They want a strong national defense. They want jobs to come back to the United States. They want a tax system that is not a penalty on hard work," Bossie said.
He said that's what Trump campaigned on, and that's what he's committed to getting through, no matter how much Democratic resistance he faces.
"They have Trump derangement syndrome. I’ve said it many times," Bossie said. "These Democrats are folks who don’t understand the American people, but they only will stand in the way of everything that the president’s trying to do. And it really is harmful to the American people every day."
