Tomi Lahren: The Left 'Seems to Want to Go to War With Russia'

Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume responded this morning on the New York Times reports on a meeting between Donald Trump Jr. and a Russian lawyer.

In reports over the weekend, the Times said Trump's eldest son and other campaign associates met with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya last summer.

The paper also reported that Trump gave two different explanations for the meeting. He pushed back on Twitter this morning, maintaining the meeting was "primarily about adoptions."

Hume said the story, like others before it, is receiving "huge play" across the mainstream media, but falls short of proving collusion by the Trump team.

He said Trump Jr. appears to have been "conned" by going to a meeting expecting to receive "dirt" on the Clintons.

"It's one more case where we have evidence of a contact of some kind with somebody connected to Russia, but no evidence of collusion," said Hume.

He said the media will go "on and on" about it, but most Americans will likely wonder what "all the fuss is about."
