Starnes: CNN Has Secured Its Place as 'America's Fake News Leader'
Todd Starnes delivered a commentary on "Fox & Friends First" today, declaring that CNN has secured its place as "America's fake news leader."
He pointed to several recent incidents where the network reported "fake" or misleading news, including a since-retracted report about President Trump associate Anthony Scaramucci meeting with Russian investors.
Three journalists at CNN resigned over the Scaramucci story, which the network said “did not meet CNN’s editorial standards.”
"What's happening at CNN should outrage every American citizen," Starnes said. "They have turned their newsroom into a political war room."
He said CNN - like other mainstream media outlets - will stop at nothing to bring down President Trump.
"You know the most shocking part of this story?" Starnes said. "That CNN actually has editorial standards."
Earlier this week, President Trump shared his thoughts on CNN, which he called "fake news."
Wow, CNN had to retract big story on "Russia," with 3 employees forced to resign. What about all the other phony stories they do? FAKE NEWS!
