A new poll from Rasmussen Reports shows that half of American voters approve of the job President Trump is doing.

Abby Huntsman pointed out that the 50 percent approval figure contrasts with several news reports and other polls showing Trump at a disadvantage, compared to his predecessors at this point in his tenure.

"This is good news for Trump," said Katie Frates of Olympic Media.

"No one's covering this - you have to wonder why," she said.

Frates said a recent Associated Press poll showed Trump with a 64 percent disapproval rating.
