In his monologue, Greg Gutfeld said former FBI Director James Comey's congressional testimony amounted to a "pile of baloney."

Gutfeld said that he would prefer government officials to be tweeting rather than leaking.

"At least with a tweet, you know it's coming from Trump," he said.

"Comey hid behind a leak. He had his buddy drop it to the [New York] Times to protect himself. That's a weenie move."

Gutfeld said Trump has been more transparent than Comey, while the former FBI chief comes across with an "aw, shucks," demeanor that "masks his sneaky behavior."

"I felt like I was watching a combination of "Hee-Haw" and "L.A. Law"," he said.

Gutfeld said Comey's testimony made him seem "like he's trying to do the right thing while doing the wrong thing."

"What did the testimony of my homey, James Comey, show me? A pile of baloney," Gutfeld said.
