Mark Steyn sounded off this morning on Hillary's new excuses for her election loss and the left's reaction to President Trump's expected move to pull the U.S. out of the Paris climate agreement.

Clinton called her email scandal a "nothing-burger" on Wednesday and said the related federal investigation is not the reason she lost.

The author and radio host said Clinton and Democrats are trying to make people believe fake news and Russian interference were the reasons she lost, rather than her own failings as a candidate.

"Hillary didn't connect. People left a Hillary rally - which is an oxymoronic term - more depressed than when they went in," he said.

Steyn said the left still believes voters are "too stupid" and "had to have been suckered" into voting for Trump.

Meantime, Trump will make the official announcement on the global climate pact at 3:00pm ET in the Rose Garden. The agreement, signed in 2015 by nearly 200 countries, would force the U.S. to reduce fossil fuel emissions by nearly 30 percent by 2025.

Steyn said he would "love it" if Trump pulls the U.S. out of the agreement, calling out liberal politicians for refusing to enforce borders while arguing that the Earth's "thermostat" can be lowered by the year 2100.

He called on leaders to focus on more pressing matters like terrorism after the terror attack on an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England.

Steyn pointed out that left-wing lawmakers do not think borders can be enforced, yet believe they can "control the very heavens."

"It's literally insane. The less it has to do with your life, the more the left is invested in it," said Steyn.
