Joe Scarborough claimed this morning that President Donald Trump's recent actions suggest he is a "hostage" of the Kremlin.

The discussion was centered around a new report that the Trump administration may return to Russia two diplomatic compounds in New York and Maryland.

Russian officials were booted from the locations in late December by the Obama administration as punishment for meddling in the election.

Scarborough's fiancee and "Morning Joe" co-host Mika Brzezinski said it's becoming "hard to believe that Putin doesn't have anything on Trump."

Scarborough then went through a list of what he sees as suspicious actions from the White House, including Trump's meeting with two Russian diplomats one day after firing James Comey.

"They make these decisions time and time again in a way that makes it appear that they're hostages, that he's Vladimir Putin's hostage," he said, claiming that Putin instructed Trump to hold the Oval Office meeting with Moscow's foreign minister and ambassador.

"It's unbelievable. It's hard to fathom," Brzezinski declared.

The comment comes after the RNC singled out the show for continually exhibiting "Trump Derangement Syndrome"

"Once a respected forum for intelligent discourse, the program has turned into 3 hours of far-left hysteria, filled with more faux scandal and innuendo than a bad episode of Gossip Girl," the email declared to supporters.

On "America's Newsroom" this morning, David Bossie accused Democrats of continuing to peddle "bogus claims" about Trump and Russia without any evidence.
