Homeland Security Secretary Gen. John Kelly took a shot at the mainstream media during the U.S. Coast Guard's graduation ceremony in New England.

At the commencement in New London, Conn., a group of cadets gave President Trump a ceremonial saber.

Trump nodded and thanked the men, then took a seat next to Kelly.

A hot microphone caught Kelly joking with Trump: "You could use that on the press, sir."

"Yeah, I know," Trump responded.

Trump has weathered several breaking reports from mainstream media outlets over the past several weeks, including coverage of a controversial memo and an offer of confidential information to the Russians.
