McCain on Dems Crying Wolf: 'They Floated Impeachment on Election Night'
Meghan McCain called out Democrats who "cry wolf" as some on the left are talking impeachment of President Donald Trump over the firing of FBI Director James Comey.
McCain said Democrats are risking their credibility and "political capital" by repeatedly bringing up impeachment without evidence.
"They were floating impeachment on election night. This is the problem with the Democratic Party right now. They cry wolf so much that you don't know when it's actually something legitimate. I think the hysteria is completely and totally overblown," she said.
Earlier today, President Trump tweeted a video of Democrats calling for Comey to step down last year for his handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation.

Meantime, Rep. Mark Pocan (D-WI) tweeted a photo of an "impeachment clock" yesterday afternoon.
Trump firing Comey reminds me of the doomsday clock, but maybe we should start an impeachment one. This moved us an hour closer to midnight. pic.twitter.com/3hJlVONHoM

Mercedes Schlapp emphasized that acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe told senators this morning that the Russia investigation is going forward.
Rep. Peter King (R-NY) said he sees the Russia probe as an "investigation in search of a crime" and that Republicans should be standing up for Trump more vocally.
King said if any evidence of collusion is found, it should be made public but "until then, it's immoral to be accusing the president of treason."
"It's the ultimate crime and there's absolutely no evidence," King said.
