In the wake of another terror attack in Paris, Rep. Peter King (R-NY) said that ISIS is a threat everywhere and at any time, including here in the United States.

Despite that, King, a member of the House Homeland Security Committee and chairman of the House Counterterrorism and Intelligence Subcommittee, acknowledged that the U.S. is better-equipped than France to deal with the threat of radical Islamic terror.

He explained that France has for years had an openly hostile Muslim population within the country, and is in much closer proximity to the epicenter of the refugee crisis than the U.S.

"The issue in France is somewhat more difficult than here in the United States, but having said that, we still can never let our guard down," King said.

He noted that Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly recently said that the risk of a terror attack on the United States "as threatening today" as it was on 9/11.

"It's a metastasizing movement," King said, pointing out that not only is ISIS still a powerful force in the Middle East, but we also face threats from foreign fighters entering the U.S. and people already in the country being radicalized by internet propaganda.

"This is a multi-pronged war," King said. "And we have to fight it at every level."
