A dazzling green meteor streaked across Southern California skies Monday night, and one woman was lucky enough to capture it on video.

The luminous fireball flashed over San Diego at around 9:00 p.m. local time, according to the American Meteor Society.

Faye Heddings was doing a live stream with her friend Dale Demi when the meteor zoomed by Demi in the background.

A stunned Demi covered her face with her hands repeatedly asked viewers, “Did you guys see that?”

Heddings posted the video on Twitter, and it's quickly gone viral.

"I was watching my best friend's live stream, and it came out of nowhere," Heddings told The Mirror. "It was shocking but amazing that it was the right place at the right time to capture this."

More than 250 sightings of the meteor were reported across Southern California, from Santa Barbara to San Diego, and as far east as Arizona.
