Chelsea Clinton to Be Honored at 'Power of Women' Gala
Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton will be honored with an achievement award next month at a "Power of Women" gala, Variety reported.
Lifetime television network and Variety named Clinton, 37, one of their "Impact Honorees" for 2017 along with actress Jessica Chastain and CBS host Gayle King.
Clinton will be honored for her work as vice chairwoman of the Clinton Foundation as well as her participation in the children's health organization Alliance for a Healthier Generation.
Chastain is receiving an award for her advocacy for Planned Parenthood and King will be honored for her partnership with Bowery Mission, a Manhattan homeless shelter, and other causes.
Hundreds of high-profile entertainment "insiders" will be in attendance at the New York City event.
Clinton previously was honored as one of Glamour's 2014 Women of the Year, with the magazine calling her "the women's champion."
