Tonight, Sean Hannity and Univision anchor Jorge Ramos got heated while discussing the immigration raids that led to the arrests of more than 600 people in 11 states last week.

Ramos, who has been an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump and his policies, recently wrote an article titled "I no longer recognize this country."

He argued that illegal immigrants commit crimes at a lower frequency than U.S. citizens, and the vast majority of illegal immigrants in America are just people trying to create better lives for themselves and their families.

Hannity said that American taxpayers pay trillions of dollars on illegal immigrants, including schools, health care or prisons.

"You say, 'This isn't the America I know.' Well, what America do you know?" Hannity said. "Where people break the law? That people don't respect American sovereignty? That Americans - some of them - lose their children, just because you define compassion as open borders?"

Hannity further pressed Ramos on Trump's policy of "extreme vetting" for any refugees seeking asylum in the U.S.

"Do you support extreme vetting to protect Americans and not gamble with their lives?" Hannity asked.

Ramos said that he believes - as many people do - that Trump's policy is actually undermining the national security of the U.S.

"Here’s the reality, this is the truth, radical islamists are at war with America," Hannity said. "You are willing to gamble with the lives of Americans and not vet them. Do you really care about your fellow Americans at all? Do you care about their safety?"
