Today, the "Five" co-hosts compared the press' coverage of President Obama and President-elect Donald Trump.

Greg Gutfeld pointed out that the media basically fawned over Obama during his final press conference on Wednesday, while many members of the press have spoken out about Trump and how he "scares" them.

"They treat a Trump White House like a zombie apocalypse, hoping the mentality spreads," Gutfeld said.

Meghan McCain said that she loves seeing liberals having so much anxiety about a Trump presidency.

"Now you know what it feels like to be me for the past eight years," McCain said. "I love it ... It's a time of change. And I'm glad that so many people are finally feeling what it was like to be a conservative for the past eight years."

Lisa Boothe argued that it can be dangerous for the media to drive a "sensationalized" narrative about Trump, because it just breeds distrust in the press.

She pointed out that both CNN and BuzzFeed reported on an unsubstantiated dossier that suggested the president-elect has extensive ties to Russia.

"It's incredibly counterproductive for them to continue this mass hysteria."
