President-elect Donald Trump held his first news conference since the election at Trump Tower in New York City on Wednesday.

The first issue he addressed was the release of an unverified 25-page dossier claiming Trump has had extensive ties to Russia.

"I want to thank a lot of the news organizations here today, because they looked at that nonsense that was released by maybe the intelligence agencies...They came out so strongly against that fake news," Trump said.

Trump went on to talk about the Senate confirmation hearings of Sen. Jeff Sessions for attorney general and former ExxonMobil CEO Rex Tillerson as secretary of state.

"I think we have one of the great Cabinets ever put together, and we've been hearing that from so many people," Trump said.

He then discussed how a replacement to Obamacare will be offered "essentially simultaneously" after a potential repeal.

"Obamacare is a complete and total disaster. ... Obamacare is the Democrats' problem. We are gonna take the problems off the shelves for them. We're doing them a tremendous service by doing it," Trump said.

He then circled back to his comments on the unverified report on his ties to Russia being "fake news." He specifically called out CNN for their coverage of the story and then refused to answer a question from CNN reporter Jim Acosta, saying "You are fake news!"
