As the battle over ObamaCare rages on Capitol Hill, Tucker Carlson faced off tonight with a supporter of the health care law, Rep. Jim Himes (D-CT).

Carlson acknowledged that there are some good aspects to ObamaCare, but he argued at the end of the day it's a "flawed piece of legislation" that hasn't been embraced by the American people.

Himes insisted that a majority of Americans agree with the core ideas of ObamaCare, but Republicans have been telling them for seven years that the law is "evil."

"Is that really your argument? That people don't love it because they've been lied to?" Carlson asked.

He said that that people's opinions of ObamaCare are actually being shaped by their experiences with the flawed law and its rising costs.

Carlson added that it's "nonsensical" to say that most Americans like ObamaCare, but to also argue that most Americans dislike it due to Republican propaganda.
