A mother of a boy with autism shared a photo of her son getting a haircut, and that photo has gone viral.

Jennifer McCafferty posted the photo on Facebook showing the hair stylist sitting with her son, Isaiah, on the floor in order to make him feel comfortable as she cut his hair. McCafferty said haircuts with Isaiah are "no small feat."

She expressed her gratitude to Kaylen Barker, the stylist at Sport Clips in Charleston, S.C., saying, "Autism can be so very, very hard, but people like this make our days just a little easier."

Barker replied to the Facebook post, saying she was happy she could make Isaiah's experience "less stressful and scary."

"He made my heart smile," Barker said. "You are so lucky to have such a wonderful little boy. This whole experience has been so humbling and heartwarming. I never knew what impact just doing my job could have on someone.

"Thank you for letting me cut his hair."
