A new fish restaurant in Iraqi Kurdistan has been named in honor of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump.

"Trump Fish" opened in the Dahuk province one week after Trump won the presidential election.

"I named my restaurant out of enthusiasm, without any political objectives," the owner Nidiar Zawiyati told Al-Monitor.

During his campaign, Trump said he was a fan of Kurdish forces and called for the U.S. military to arm these troops against ISIS.

Zawiyati said the restaurant has enjoyed significant business in its first two months as the Kurds are hoping Trump will help them in their quest for secession and independence from Iraq.

The restaurant features the San Diego Chargers Trump logo used in a 2015 Uproxx piece redesigning every NFL team's logo as Trump.
