Yesterday we reported on Bristol Palin's blog post calling out celebrities as "sissies" for skipping the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump.

We also brought you a story on D.L. Hughley's seemingly insensitive tweet about the passing of actresses Carrie Fisher and her mother Debbie Reynolds.

And now, those two stories have become enmeshed.

Hughley tweeted a response to Palin's remarks Friday, saying that the celebrities skipping the inauguration should hold a benefit for her favorite charity, "Unplanned Parenthood."

Palin, 26, is currently pregnant with her third child, which will be her second with her husband Dakota Meyer.

Her first pregnancy was announced right before the 2008 Republican National Convention during her mother Sarah Palin's unsuccessful run as vice president on Sen. John McCain's ticket. She was 18 years old at the time.

Tell us what you think of Hughley's latest Twitter controversy.
