Some Democrats say they want secretary of state nominee Rex Tillerson to release his last three years of tax returns.

This group is concerned with Tillerson's business dealings around the world as CEO of Exxon Mobil and his ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Sen. Ben Cardin (D-Md.) is spearheading the movement.

"Mr. Tillerson was actively engaged with many foreign governments that could become relevant if confirmed as Secretary of State. The Senate has a responsibility to review all relevant documents during the confirmation process," Sen. Cardin said.

Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.), who heads the committee that will hold Tillerson's confirmation hearings, said Tillerson is not required to submit his tax returns for the job of secretary of state.

However, he said Tillerson has begun the process of disclosing his financial information.

Fox Business Network's Blake Burman joined "Shepard Smith Reporting" Friday to discuss these Democrats' demands, as well as mention that some Republicans, including Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), have voiced their concerns over Tillerson's ties to Russia.
