Julie Roginsky believes that President Obama failed woefully by not acting when he became aware of Russia's cyber-meddling in the U.S. election months ago.
On "Outnumbered" today, Roginsky said it doesn't make sense for Obama to talk tough on Russia now, because he's about to be out of office.
"You had the opportunity to do that six months ago. You did not, as far as we all know," Roginsky said.
She said that President-elect Donald Trump must learn from Obama's mistake and stand up to Russian President Vladimir Putin now, or he risks being hacked himself.
"His offices will get hacked, his supporters will get hacked," Roginsky said. "It's going to happen to Donald Trump unless he goes along with everything Vladimir Putin wants, if we don't punish Putin today."
She called for a bipartisan effort to punish Putin, an "adversary" and "foe" to the U.S.
"Foreign governments do not hack us. I don't care who you are or what party you belong to."
