Huckabee: 'Trump Could Walk Across the Hudson, NY Times Would Say He Can't Swim'
Mike Huckabee and Bill O'Reilly agreed that the mainstream media's bias against President-elect Donald Trump is out of control.
The former Arkansas governor discussed Trump's victory tour speeches and how the media is covering the incoming administration.
Huckabee argued that the speeches are a clever way for Trump to "bypass" the media and speak directly to the American people.
"Why would you ever load a gun that's pointed at your own head? Why would he let the news media be his filter? Why would he allow them to carry his water when they're gonna taint it before they deliver it?" he asked.
O'Reilly asked Huckabee if he agreed that the national media is against Trump and will never give him credit no matter what he does.
"No matter what it is," Huckabee answered.
"I think this man could walk across the Hudson River and the New York Times would say Donald Trump can't swim. That's how bad it is," he said.
