The Weather Channel is calling out Breitbart News over a recent article that claimed global temperatures are plunging and that global warming is an “alarmist narrative.”

In a two-minute video, reporter Kait Parker condemned the website for misrepresenting her own climate report and climate change data in general.

“Last week, Breitbart.com published a story claiming global warming is nothing but a scare, and global temperatures were actually falling,” Parker says in the video. “The problem is, they used a completely unrelated video about La Niña with my face in it to attempt to back their point.”

On its website, the Weather Channel, published a line-by-line retort to the Breitbart article, explaining how it got the facts wrong.

"To our friends at Breitbart: The next time you write a climate change article and need fact checking help, please call. We're here for you. I'm sure we both agree this topic is too important to get wrong."
