Trump: 'Ridiculous' Boeing-Air Force One Contract May Need to Be Canceled
President-elect Donald Trump turned his attention this morning to the American airplane maker Boeing, asking whether the cost of the new Air Force One project is getting out of control.
Boeing is building a brand new 747 Air Force One for future presidents, but costs are out of control, more than $4 billion. Cancel order!

As he entered Trump Tower, reporters sought to ask Trump some questions and he took one about his Boeing tweet.
"The plane is totally out of control. ... I think Boeing is doing a little bit of a number. We want Boeing to make a lot of money, but not that much money," he said.
The Pentagon announced in January that the world's largest aerospace company won the contract to build a new Air Force One fleet based on its 747-8
At the time, the Air Force had said $1.65 billion was earmarked for two replacement jets.
