A Florida woman found true love for the first time at the age of 80, tying the knot with her 95-year-old nursing home neighbor, NBC Washington reported.

Maria Cobar and Carlos Suarez met about a year ago when Suarez moved in across the hall from Cobar, the network reported.

The happy couple evidently hit it off right away and were known as the 'love birds' of the Aventura Plaza Nursing Center in North Miami Beach.

Cobar's nuptials are her first since she immigrated from Guatemala as a young woman. Suarez's wife died in 2006.

Cobar and Suarez enjoy dancing and watching the sunset with each other, the center's staff said.

A mariachi band was on hand for the wedding festivities, encouraging Suarez to get out of his wheelchair and dance.

The nursing center provided other entertainment and favors as well.
