This Video of Pres-Elect Trump's Granddaughter Is Going Viral in China
A nine-month-old video of Donald Trump's granddaughter is going viral on Chinese social media platforms.
The clip of five-year-old Arabella Kushner was posted on Instagram in February by Trump's oldest daughter, Ivanka, who is married to New York businessman Jared Kushner.
The video - showing Arabella speaking Mandarin and reciting poetry wearing traditional Chinese clothing - was posted to coincide with the Lunar New Year.
"Arabella wanted to have a pre-bedtime #ChineseNewYear party this past Sunday evening. She got all dressed up and performed songs and poems for Jared, Joseph and me. It was pretty adorable #yearofthemonkey #happyChineseNewYear," Ivanka wrote.
It has since gone viral following her father's surprise election victory last week. It's now been viewed more than 260,000 times as it spread on Weibo, a Twitter-like platform in China.
"I particularly dislike Trump but his children and grandchildren are all quite cute," one person wrote, according to NBC News.
Arabella was seen last Tuesday walking with mom and dad after they went to cast their votes in New York City.
The couple also has two younger sons, 3-year-old Joseph and Theodore, who was born March 27.
President-elect Trump, who harshly criticized U.S. policy toward China during his campaign, spoke by phone Monday with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
