Funny 'SNL' Mocks Overconfident Hillary Voters in Hilarious Election Night Sketch
This weekend, "Saturday Night Live" took on overconfident Hillary Clinton supporters with a hilarious sketch set on election night.
In the scene, a group of Clinton voters excitedly await the election of the first female president, speculating that she'll win in a landslide that there will never be another Republican commander-in-chief.
Host Dave Chappelle and special guest Chris Rock warily caution them about prematurely calling the race.
As the results come in throughout the night, the Clinton supporters watch with growing dread as Donald Trump wins multiple key states.
When it becomes clear that Clinton will lose, one cast member asks, "Why aren't people turning out for Hillary the way they did for Barack Obama?"
"I mean, maybe because you're replacing a charismatic 40-year-old black guy with a 70-year-old white woman," Rock replied. "That's like the Knicks replacing Patrick Ewing with Neil Patrick Harris."
After another cast member states, “This is the most shameful thing America has ever done," Chappelle and Rock simply break out in laughter.
