Krauthammer: Clinton 'Drowning in Cumulative Effect' of WikiLeaks, FBI Probe
Syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer reacted to Hillary Clinton concentrating her campaign message on attacks on Donald Trump's character.
"What's happening is she's now drowning in the cumulative effects of the WikiLeaks [email releases] and the FBI deal," Krauthammer said on Special Report with Bret Baier.
"When you have to bring Alicia Machado back on-stage...four weeks later, you've got nothing left in the tank." he said.
He reacted to a newly-discovered email conversation between Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta and Clinton aide Cheryl Mills in which Podesta said at the time "we are going to have to dump all those emails..."
The Clintons and their allies' "instinctive reaction" in cases like the email probe "is to dump, is to hide, is to cover."
He also faulted Clinton for allegedly destroying 33,000 of the emails mentioned via a comprehensive process called 'BleachBit'.
"Nothing she says can [allow her to] escape the black hole of all this incoming ammunition," he said.
