Bret Baier thinks that the FBI's decision to reopen its investigation of Hillary Clinton's private email server could be extremely beneficial for Donald Trump.

On "Happening Now" today, Baier explained that the renewal of the Clinton probe could reinvigorate Republican voters who had written off Trump's chances, particularly big money donors.

"Now, they see he has a path to 270 and they say, 'This thing's going to happen,'" Baier said. "I think you're going to see big money donors ... move towards Donald Trump, ones that maybe put their money on the side."

He said that the race was already tightening as Election Day draws closer, and new polls in the coming days will reveal if the email investigation has an effect.

Baier added that sharp premium increases that will hit some Americans covered under the ObamaCare is another major story on the campaign trail and another reason why many Republicans are increasingly optimistic about the election.
