The FBI is now reopening the investigation into Hillary Clinton's private email server, Fox News confirmed moments ago.

In a letter to Congress, FBI Director James Comey wrote that there is "pertinent" information regarding possibly "classified" information that needs to be re-examined.

Just 11 days before the presidential election, Comey wrote that the new information came to light in an unrelated investigation.

He wrote in the letter that the FBI "cannot yet assess whether or not this material may be significant" and that he cannot predict how long the "additional work" will take.

Donald Trump just spoke on the breaking news at a rally in New Hampshire.

House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) released a statement, saying Clinton "has nobody but herself to blame."

Comey announced in July that he would not recommend charges against Clinton for mishandling classified information on her private email server while she was secretary of state.
