Outrageous UPDATE: Man Arrested for Smashing Trump's Hollywood Walk of Fame Star
Donald Trump's Hollywood Walk of Fame star was smashed to pieces by a man with a sledgehammer.
FOX Los Angeles reported that the man, James Lambert Otis, showed up with a sledgehammer and a pickax and was originally intending to remove the star in one piece, auction it off and then donate the proceeds to women who claim they were sexually abused by the Republican presidential nominee.

Otis, who was dressed in construction worker clothing, found the monument too difficult to remove in one piece, so he destroyed it.
Otis said he still wants to sell the pieces of the star, which was placed on the 6800 block of Hollywood Boulevard to honor Trump's role on "The Apprentice."
He acknowledged that he'll likely be arrested for the vandalism.
"I'm not frightened of jail and I'm certainly not frightened of Mr. Trump. What punishment I get is fine," he said.
Otis said he destroyed the monument in protest to Trump's alleged abuse of women, noting some of his family members were victims of sexual assault.
UPDATE: Otis was arrested Thursday. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce stated on Wednesday that it wants to see Otis prosecuted to the "full extent of the law."
"When people are unhappy with one of our honorees, we would hope that they would project their anger in more positive ways than to vandalize a California State landmark," stated the organization’s president, Leron Gubler. "Our democracy is based on respect for the law. People can make a difference by voting and not destroying public property."
