Pence: 'The Folks Have Had It With Direction' of the USA
FAIR AND BALANCED... Don't miss the final presidential debate, moderated by Fox News' Chris Wallace, on Wednesday, October 19th at 9:00pm ET on Fox News Channel!
Following a rally in Salem, Virginia, outside of Roanoke, Mike Pence joined Bill O'Reilly to discuss the state of the campaign on The O'Reilly Factor.
O'Reilly asked whether Pence had "reconciled" his apparent differences with Donald Trump on Syria.
"Frankly, [moderator] Martha Raddatz mischaracterized my position," he said, explaining that he and Trump agree that to deal with the "crisis in Aleppo...100 thousand kids [need] safe zones."
"To secure those safe zones, we should prepare to use military force if necessary."
"The way she presented it," Pence said, "conflated...with broad military action against the Assad regime."
Regarding strategies to target women and other voters who are cool to the Trump/Pence ticket, the Indiana governor said "the strategy is just the message."
"More jobs, more oppotunity...school choice, ending the scourge of illegal immigration...are concerns to women and men in America."
"The folks have had it with the direction of the country."
