Donald Trump told Bill O’Reilly tonight that House Speaker Paul Ryan may be in a "different position" in Congress after the election.

"If you're elected president you're going to need these guys," O'Reilly told Trump, referring to Sen, John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Ryan.

"They'll be there...I would think that Ryan wouldn't be there--maybe he would be in a different position," Trump said on The O'Reilly Factor.

"I wouldn't want to be in the foxhole with a lot of these guys," Trump said of members of Congress and governors who have withdrawn their support of Trump following the release of the vulgar tape from 2005.

Regarding his earlier comments on his "shackles" being taken off after Ryan's stated decision against actively campaigning with Trump, the nominee said:

"We've been having a problem...We have millions... of followers," alleging the numbers were caused in part by Ryan's record in the House, which he characterized as pro-"open borders and amnesty, and bad budgets."

"Frankly, the only one Obama negotiates well with is Paul Ryan," he added.
