Fiery McCain Sounds Off on Liberal Celebs' 'Ridiculous' Anti-Trump Hysteria
A who's who of Hollywood liberals are coming together to urge voters to register and help "save" the country from Donald Trump.
Saying that we can "save the day for our children," the A-listers who appeared included Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr., James Franco, Martin Sheen and Mark Ruffalo.
Actor Don Cheadle describes Trump as a "racist, abusive coward who could permanently damage the fabric of our society."
"Do we really want to give nuclear weapons to a man whose signature move is firing things?" they ask.
"We can end this nightmare before it begins," says Julianne Moore.
The Outnumbered hosts reacted today, with Meghan McCain arguing that if young people only cared about celebrities, then Republicans would never be elected anywhere.
"Ridiculous! I can't sit through this [video]," she said, adding that the "biggest load of hypocrites that exist are Hollywood liberals."
"People in Hollywood - and I lived in Los Angeles for a year and a half and I know this to be true - they think, 'I know better than you, [the] working class American. You may be living an average life and making minimum wage, but let me tell you what's best for you,'" said McCain.
Rachel Campos-Duffy pointed out that the Hollywood, media and Wall Street "elites" who are uniting against Trump are actually "reinforcing" his message that he's taking on the establishment.
