Former House speaker Newt Gingrich joined Sean Hannity last night to react to the first presidential debate.
Gingrich, a Donald Trump supporter, said that the Republican nominee had an "enormous, historic victory."
He explained that Trump didn't try to do too much, instead staying composed, calm and focused.
"I was very proud of him," Gingrich said. "He stuck with 'stop-and-frisk,' he stuck with 'law and order.' He didn't allow either Lester Holt or Hillary to get him off balance. And he stuck with the facts."
On the other hand, Gingrich said, Clinton failed to discredit Trump and also to offer her own bold vision of change.
