Eric Trump: ‘Hillary’s Been a Politician Longer Than I’ve Been Alive’

The first 2016 presidential debate is mere hours away, and Donald Trump supporter Rudy Giuliani says his candidate is ready.

On "Fox & Friends" this morning, Giuliani said that unlike Hillary Clinton, Trump hasn't spent his time doing mock debates.

Instead, Giuliani said, the Republican nominee has focused his debate preparation on boning up on the issues and honing his message.

"A lot of the preparation was in the speeches he gave," Giuliani added. "Unlike her, he gave very highly specific policy speeches over the last two months. And the idea he hasn't been specific and he hasn't drilled down on the issues is kinda a little silly."

Giuliani said that his advice to Trump for tonight was simply to be himself.

"I think Donald Trump has done best since Donald Trump has been just let loose to be Donald Trump," he explained. "If you let him be himself, this man is an extraordinary political thinker."

Brian Kilmeade noted that Democratic VP candidate Tim Kaine and Clinton surrogates have been labeling Trump a "liar" in recent days, and that appears to be a strategy Clinton will use at the debate.

"Is he ready for that type of scrutiny?" Kilmeade asked.

"I can't imagine that probably the biggest liar that every ran for president of the United States is going to bring up lies," Giuliani said, pointing to Clinton's previous statement about her private email account, the Clinton Foundation and the Benghazi terror attack.

"If she wants to get to the area of lying, she's lied about things that imperil our national security. So, that's a topic we would love."
