The reports of "creepy clown" sightings continue.

Several children in Macon, Georgia, say they were walking to the school bus stop Tuesday morning when they were chased by at least two individuals dressed as clowns.

"It was this morning at 6:30 when we were leaving at the house," 12-year-old Cameron Frails told WRDW.

Frails, who was with his brother and a neighbor, said they saw at least two men coming toward them between two trailers.

"We saw a man with all black on, clown mask, and a red wig," Frails said. "I told my brother to run and scream as loud as he can."

They were able to escape and tell their parents, who called 911.

Major Ronnie Williamson, with the McDuffie County Sheriff's Office, said they are taking the kids' report seriously.

"Until we can prove otherwise, we don't know there wasn't a clown. Something scared these children this morning," Williamson said.

"We fully intend to charge someone if we can prove the malicious intent."

The incident is the most recent in a series of reported "creepy clown" sightings in North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia and, now, Georgia.
