New Report: Anthony Weiner Sexted Woman with Young Son Next to Him
UPDATE: Anthony Weiner's wife, Clinton aide Huma Abedin, announced she will be separating from the former congressman after new "sexting" revelations broke Monday morning.
For the third time in recent years disgraced former Congressman and New York mayoral hopeful Anthony Weiner was caught in yet another "sexting" scandal.
The most jarring photograph, obtained by the New York Post, was sent by Weiner in July 2015 to the 40-something divorcee.
It shows Weiner’s shirtless midsection, with his toddler son Jordan curled up next to him in bed.
“You realize you can see your [expletive] in that pic?” the woman asks Weiner in the exchange.
The Post reported that some of the exchanges occurred while Abedin was on the campaign trail with Clinton, leaving Weiner alone in Manhattan to converse with the mystery brunette who lives on the West Coast.
As the Post reported:
The object of Weiner’s affections is his polar opposite politically: a self-avowed supporter of Donald Trump and the National Rifle Association who’s used Twitter to bash both President Obama and Clinton.
Screenshots show the electronic chats began in late January 2015 and continued through earlier this month, according to the woman, who spoke to The Post on condition of anonymity.
And while Weiner repeatedly invited her to visit him in New York City, she said, “We never met.”
Asked for comment, Weiner admitted he and the woman “have been friends for some time.”
Until 2011, Weiner represented Central Queens and Brooklyn, N.Y. in Congress until he was forced to resign after his first round of lewd exchanges with a woman were uncovered.
He also ran mayor of New York City in 2013, losing shortly after the “Carlos Danger” scandal broke.
Weiner has since deactivated his Twitter account.
