How did the father of the Orlando terrorist get an up-close seat at a Hillary Clinton event?

Clinton was asked about this at an event today in Miami - where she was discussing the Zika virus - but she was not giving any answers.

Cameras spotted Seddique Mateen - whose son Omar Mateen killed 49 people at a gay nightclub in June - standing in the crowd behind Clinton Monday night in Florida.

Mateen spoke after the event, holding up a sign that touted Clinton's strength on national security and gun control.

The Clinton campaign later explained that the event was "open-door" and the campaign did not know Mateen would be there.

A campaign spokesman added late Tuesday night that Clinton "disagrees with his views and disavows his support."

But as Clinton wrapped up her event in Miami Tuesday, a reporter attempted to get in a question about Mateen's attendance at the event.

"Should your campaign have known that Omar Mateen's father was at your rally yesterday?" the reporter asked.

Clinton totally ignored it, saying "thank you very much" and walking away.

Mateen condemned his son's attack, but also said that God will punish homosexuals. He previously expressed support for the Taliban.
