In an exclusive interview with "Fox News Sunday," Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton spoke about some of the issues her critics frequently mention, including Benghazi, her private email server and the Clinton Foundation.

Clinton doubled down on her claim about Benghazi, declaring that she never said the 2012 terror attack that left four Americans dead was sparked by an anti-Muslim video.

"If you go back and read everything that I said that day, I quoted people who talked about it being terrorism. I had already said it was terrorism.  There was no doubt it was terrorism," Clinton said. "I think there has been a confusion in the minds of some and exploiting that confusion for the advantage of others."

As for her much-criticized private email server, Clinton acknowledged that she "made a mistake," but she insisted that she "relied on the judgment of professionals."

"At the time, there was no reason, in my view, to doubt the professionalism and the determination by the people who work every single day on behalf of our country."

When Wallace asked her about the Clinton Foundation, she said there is no connection between anything she did while serving as secretary of state and her family's charitable organization.

"People can say that, but I'm proud of our philanthropic work, our personal, family philanthropic work, the work of the Clinton Foundation," Clinton said.

"I'd like to see Donald Trump's tax returns to find out how much philanthropy he's ever done."
