Gorka on Obama Saying the World's Never Been Better: 'He's in The Matrix'
Tonight on Hannity, Dr. Sebastian Gorka responded to President Obama saying the world has never been more prosperous or peaceful.
The president spoke at the White House Summit on Global Development, saying it's important to remind "ourselves of how lucky we are to be living in the most peaceful, most prosperous, most progressive era in human history.”
“Because the world has never been less violent, healthier, better educated, more tolerant, with more opportunity for more people, and more connected than it is today,” he said.
Gorka said it's as if the president is living in the virtual reality world of The Matrix and he refuses to take the "red pill" that reveals reality.
"He's created this narrative, and he just has to live in it," he said.
"This is a 'New World Disorder,'" he added, borrowing a phrase from Lt. Col. Oliver North. "And you know's responsible for it? Hillary Clinton as secretary of state, and the commander-in-chief Barack Obama."
Gorka said there are two data points conflicting with Obama's rosy picture that cannot be denied: that 2015 saw the highest number of jihadist plots on U.S. soil since September 11, 2001; and there exists today the largest number of refugees in human history, at 60 million."
"This is when the world's supposed to be great, and the president says to us today, 'Go out and enjoy the sunshine and the birds.'"
