Trump Speaks After Receiving GOP Nomination: 'We Have to Go All the Way'

Newt Gingrich spoke at the Republican National Convention tonight, declaring that Donald Trump, not Hillary Clinton, can keep America safe.

He said that Trump has the courage to state some important truths, such as we are at war with radical Islamists.

"Our national security and foreign policy elites, led by Hillary Clinton, are incapable of speaking with such honesty," Gingrich said. "Donald Trump is right: We are at war with radical Islamists, we are losing the war, and we must change course to win the war."

He said that Islamist terror attacks around the world give a glimpse of the worst case scenario: terrorists obtaining a weapon of mass destruction.

Gingrich said that, unlike Trump, that is a threat that Clinton will never face, because of her "suicidal dishonesty."

"Every American should be terrified at the prospect of a Hillary Clinton presidency," he stated.

"Donald Trump won our party’s nomination because he is willing to tell the truth about the things that matter most," Gingrich said. "We can make America safe again, we can make America work again, we can make America first again, and together, we can make America great again - for all Americans."
