Jeb Bush thinks Donald Trump's supporters will feel "betrayed" when he fails to fulfill his campaign promises.

In an interview with GOP strategist Nicole Wallace, the former Republican presidential hopeful said that Trump has been a master at exploiting the media, manipulating the political environment and getting his message out to voters.

He said that Trump will likely defeat Hillary Clinton in the general election, but he asserted that a Trump presidency will have negative consequences for the country.

"There isn't going to be a wall built. And Mexico's not going to pay for it. And there's not going to be a ban on Muslims," Jeb said. "This is all like an alternative universe that he created. The reality is, that's not going to happen."

"That's the heartbreaking part of this, is I think people are really going to feel betrayed."

Jeb said that will lead to further divisions among Americans, leading our nation to "stagger instead of soar."
