A beloved northern New Jersey bear who's become something of an internet sensation in recent years was spotted again.

"Pedals" is missing a front paw and the other is not functional, and that's why he walks on two legs.

The bipedal bear was just seen walking around a backyard in Oak Ridge, New Jersey, with resident Joey Esposito capturing the moment on his cell phone.

He said his 11-year-old daughter insisted that it was a human in a bear costume. Many people expressed similar opinions when the videos first surfaced in 2014.

"Pedals" even has his own Facebook page, created by concerned citizens who were hoping to relocate him to a sanctuary.

New Jersey officials, however, reportedly denied efforts to relocate Pedals, even after more than $20,000 was raised on GoFundMe for the move.

Before the latest video, "Pedals" was last seen in December and some of the advocates expressed concerns that he would not survive the winter.
