Bill O'Reilly and Geraldo Rivera sparred tonight on The O'Reilly Factor over increasingly heated insults traded between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.

Rivera said that Trump's rhetoric today went beyond "harsh," saying that Trump "accused her essentially of treason" over her actions as secretary of state.

He defended Clinton, saying "there's not a scintilla of evidence" that she was rewarded quid pro quo with money donations to the Clinton Foundation.

Geraldo said Trump's rhetoric hearkened back to 19th century politics.

"This is not just bare knuckle, this is a knife cutting someone's throat," he said.

O'Reilly countered that Clinton did something similar yesterday by calling Trump a "grifter."

Geraldo disagreed that the attacks were equivalent, and said that Trump called her a "thief," prompting O'Reilly to shout, "That's exactly what Hillary Clinton said about Trump!"
