Gorka: It's Not About Guns, It's About Jihadi Ideology
The Orlando terror attack is proof that radical jihadists are using a different strategy for picking their targets, Dr. Sebastian Gorka said on "Sunday Morning Futures" today.
He pointed to the recent attacks in Paris, Brussels, San Bernardino and now Orlando, explaining that jihadists are moving away from large "spectacle" attacks like 9/11.
"Right now, they just want to take the fight to the infidel - that's us - on our territory, and attack high concentrations of targets that cannot protect themselves," Gorka said. "They want to find as many people as possible and slaughter them like lambs."
He said that the most important thing that needs to happen to prevent more of these attacks if for our political elite to focus on the correct issue.
"It's not about guns, it's about jihadi ideology," Gorka said. "You can ban every gun in America, and jihadis will still get them and they'll still kill Americans. Let's focus on what the threat is."
He added that everyday Americans must also embrace the "see something, say something" mentality and report suspicious activity.
