A Florida woman turned the tables on a man who had been convicted of preying on women in public places, and the video is going viral.

Candice Spivey said she was approached by a man at a Target store outside Jacksonville while she was looking at swimsuits.

Spivey said she was prepared to record the encounter because the man, who police identified as Jeffrey Polizzi, had walked up to her two years prior in a Publix grocery store, asking inappropriate questions.

"You want to make sure it’s not too sheer or clear," Polizzi can be heard saying to Spivey in the video as she looks at bikinis.

She quickly turned the camera toward him and asked, "Do you remember running into me in the grocery store?"

Clearly shocked, Polizzi dropped his basket and ran away, with Spivey giving chase.

Spivey yelled for people to stop him and called the cops as she pursued him out the door into the parking lot, recording the whole time.

Local authorities eventually tracked down Polizzi and charged him with reckless driving after he allegedly fled the scene.

He was previously convicted of “taking photographs of women in dressing rooms” in 2009, according to court documents.

Spivey said she has no regrets about taking the video, which has gone viral on Facebook, with more than 2.1 million views.

Since the video was posted, more women have stepped forward and accused Polizzi of similarly harassing them. Local authorities say they are investigating those claims.
