Last night on Hannity, Sen. Ted Cruz hit back at being called "Lucifer" by former House Speaker John Boehner, and included some digs at GOP frontrunner Donald Trump.

Boehner had called Cruz “Lucifer in the flesh” at an appearance at Stanford University, saying he had “never worked with a more miserable son of a b**** in my life." He also said that he was friends with other Republican candidates and had gone golfing with Donald Trump for years.

Cruz said Boehner's comments "reveal everything you need to know about Washington."

"Listen, we don't have two parties in Washington," he said. "We have one corrupt bipartisan mess in Washington."

He said that Boehner is angry with him because he and other conservatives took a stand against Obamacare, debt and amnesty.

"It's why Boehner lost his job, is because House conservatives rose up and said, stop having a speaker who funds Obama."

He said that Boehner, Hillary Clinton and Trump are "all part of the same corrupt system."

Cruz added: "One of the greatest frauds in modern electoral history is Donald Trump pretending to be an outsider when he has funded liberal Democrats, when he's funded John Boehner. He gave John Boehner $100,000, his Super PAC just a few years ago, and he is enmeshed with the corruption."
